Plans for 10-Million Dollar “Adventure Park” Unveiled in Branson

BRANSON, Mo. –  The city of Branson announces plans for a 10-million dollar family attraction that will replace an “eyesore” on the 76 strip.

“Fritz’s Adventure” is an indoor theme park that features “everything you wanted to do as a kid, but couldn’t.”

“It is a very tough thing to explain,” says Clear Marketing President, Trey Pelz, “because there is so much going on.”

Pelz says “Fritz’s Adventure” will offer people of all ages more than 80-thousand square feet of challenges in a safe environment, with a perceived element of risk.

“Whether it’s playing in the scaffolding or climbing up a light pole, zip-lining across rocks, rock climbing… tunneling underneath the ground,” he says.

“Really this place has a little of everything.”

The new addition replaces the former Silver Fountain Inn, which sat vacant for more than a decade, at the corner of Highway 76 and Fall Creek Road.

“We were excited to just see the old building gone,” says Dixie Stampede general manager, Ron Jett, “and to see what’s coming in, we’re even more excited.”

Jett says employees at Dixie Stampede, which sits next door, watched for three weeks as the old inn came down one piece at a time.

“We’ve been waiting for a neighbor like this to come in and help Branson,” he says, “and that’s what we look at it as: a great neighbor that’s going to make Branson a better place.”

Once construction is complete, community leaders expect the building to act as a “gateway” to the “Spirit of 76.”

“This is a mark of reinvestment,” says Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce president, Jeff Seifried.

“We’re very hopeful this sparks and builds upon the reinvestment that’s been going on in Branson, for the last several years,” he says.

Seifried says the indoor park will also feature a restaurant, and is expected to create between 35 and 50 new jobs.

“There are plenty of options in Branson, for families of all ages,” he says, “but nothing quite like this.”

“Fritz’s Adventure” is expected to open in the summer of 2016.
